I am installing a set of super stock springs on my 66 Coronet and I think the shackles are going to far forward. Can you let me know what I need to do and at what angle the shackle should sit at? ImageUploadedByTapatalk1451156322.824797.jpg

Super Stock springs are typically 2 inches shorter than the factory B springs. You normally need to install 2 inch longer front spring hangers to get the geometry correct.

You need the longer front spring hangers for the Super Stock springs. Page 133 Mopar Performance catalog:

D. Rear Spring Front Hanger Bracket Sets

These straight hangers are 2.0" longer for use with Super Stock springs.

No, I just put the spring on, I figured it would get worse when I put it on the ground.

Put it on the ground and see what it's doing then we can go from there. I'm betting that the spring won't flatten out enough to at least make the shackle go straight up and down....

Either wrong springs, or front hangers. On the ground, the shackles 'should' be at 90 degrees to the spring leaf, or just past (lower pivot aft of the upper pivot), so the eye of the spring is slightly aft of the shackle mounting holes.

Well I finished putting the springs and rearend back in today and the shackles are sitting a little past 90 deg toward the rear which is I think what I what. I would have never thought they would have came back that far. My ride height dropped a little over 1" at the fender well due to someone have springs on the back that had leafs added. Now to do the front. Thanks you for everyone's help.
