got a aadco 7/8 rear bar and wondering if anyone has installed one in their 64 or 65,any problems , pics please.thanks.

as long as the front bar is stronger
as rear is to help not do most of the work

There needs to be a proper balance between the front roll stiffness and the rear.
If there is no front sway bar and you simply add a rear one, the handling will get worse. You will have a car that will tend to spin without much warning.
Here are some basic guidelines:
*Small front sway bar with NO rear bar.
*Moderate front sway bar, small rear bar.
*Large front sway bar, moderate rear bar.
All of those combinations will result in a car that turns corners much safer. The general rule is that the end of the car with the highest roll resistance will be the end to lose traction first. If you have a huge front sway bar and big torsion bars but stock rear springs, the front end will run wide and lose grip when pushed hard. If the front has no bar and the torsion bars are stock, yet you install stiff leaf springs and a big rear sway bar, the rear will kick out on you and make the car want to spin.
I had a 7/8" Addco rear bar on my Charger and did not like it. This was even with 1" torsion bars and a 1.25 front sway bar. The car felt twitchy and unsettling. I switched to a 3/4" rear bar along with 1.15 torsion bars. The car is neutral and predictable now.
Good luck.

thanks,I will keep that in mind .I've got the 1 1/8 front bar on its way. hard to wrap around the strut mounts and their length on the rear.

No issues . Got same on my 64 440. Front was not a bolt on, required drilling. Makes a huge difference in the car. If you have not done a front end kit , now is the time.
