who s running what in there ps steering .
I just got my rebuilt box back from firm feel
so I m going to run fresh fluid. I have a cooler on it and was wondering
using regular or is there any advantage to running red line

Well to my way of thinking, it’s only p/steering & the regular stuff has worked for 60+yrs. Course redline&others would like the extra money you pay. Semi’s go 100,000 a yr. with the regular stuff!

agree thats what i think, and really , and it s my daily driver in the off winter season
so i put about 4000 miles a year

Lucas has one with seal conditioners, for the most part I just use the Valvoline stuff you can get from wherever

the lucas one is more of a sealer , it really worked wonders on my friends passat
sealed it right up 4 years still no leak

Lucas actually has 2 different blends. One with the seal conditioner and one that's plain synthetic ps fluid. It's in a blue silver and black bottle. That's what I used in my new borgeson box.
