I found out real quick to make sure the cap is on tight and correct with the behind the license plate design ….especially when the tank is full.I wouldn't with my '69 GTX. But saying that? Fuel behind the license plate is a bonehead design? Yes, you gain some trunk space. And keep the body lines cleaner. But it causes leaking/venting issues over time? As well as a more dangerous placement for fire.
