Remember "Phisohex" antibacterial soap?

wasn't there a Phisoderm soap or lotion too

Phisohex had hexachlorophene in it, they removed it for something else and changed the name. It was never the same effective product. Is Phisoderm still even made? I grew out of that era.

I remember that. They tried to make Russell Bliss the scapegoat.
I know a guy who grew up there.
EDIT

I posted this before watching the video.
Notice the EPA says there is now "no significant health risk" there.
That means there is a health risk.
Those people were ruined by govt and those companies.
What the video doesn't say is Bliss sprayed the oil on his own property.

Rt. 66 didn't go through Times Beach, it went OVER the town. The town was built on the east bank of the river and up against a bluff. 66 crossed the river on a bridge that was built around 1930. The bridge has been closed for decades and has had its decking removed to lighten its load. There is talk about making it a pedestrian bridge but funding needs to be found and it also has to be approved by MODoT, which doesn't like giving up control of bridges they don't use. The Rt. 66 park info center is at the east end of this bridge. It used to be Steiney's Reastaurant, a very popular stop for travelers and locals alike.
To get to the town there is a gravel road that turns off 66 just before said building and then goes behind the building and then under the bridge. This road is closed.
