Remote hood latch...

is this cable going by the fender tag (and where I am missing a washer resevoir and pump) a remote hood latch cable?

There is nothing where it would hook up to.

I do not see a latch handle in the interior.

Where would that handle be?

Any pics of a remote hood latch handle in the interior, and the under the hood mechanism would be appreciated.

Also, I see fan shrouds listed for 71-73 RR. Is there something different about a 74?

it looks to me like the hood release cable i pulled mine out of my part car because i had the one in the grille were anyone could open my hood if im correct look above you dimmer switch on the floor board there alittle hard to find if you dont know what your looking for but i think thats a good thing hope this helps
