Well I went to do the front drum brakes (Bearing grease had turned liquid and leaked) and found one of the wheel cylinders leaking. Upon opening it there is quite a bit of rust in the bore so I would rather replace it (both actually) then try to hone it. Problem is I cannot find one of the tools that I own that can get onto the bolts holding it to the anchor plate. No socket, 6 point wrench, or ratchet wrench will fit with the suspension parts in the way.

Any Ideas? This is a 10" front brake drum on a 66.

Thanks in advance.

Maybe disconnect the tie rod end so you can rotate it more?
Next would be unbolt the lower spindle.

You have to grind the box end of a wrench really thin.
Keep the wrench for next time. Specialty tool.

Did that years ago and ran across that wrench not too long ago and couldn't remember why it was ground down like that. Thanks for the reminder lol

Sorry for the miss post.
Yeah someone else also told me about grinding down a wrench.
Sounds like a great idea
Thanks
