1969 Coronet 500. Can this vent be removed without tearing the dash apart?
Thanks
Thanks
Not in a non rally dash. I had to remove the dash pad to get to the screws for the metal bezel in my 69 Coronet R/T.
If I am remembering correctly, in a 69 Coronet 500 you should be able to remove the cast trim piece. This will allow access to the attachment screws for removal. If this is not the case you should be able to get to it from radio removal or glove box liner removal. There are 3 screws holding it to frame. Two on top and one on bottom.
You should find the screws in the bottom lower corners and top center.I have the radio, ash tray and glove box removed. Just not seeing any attachment screws.
I need to look again.
Thanks
That is correct. Also, drop the steering column down. Also looks like the switch panel needs to come out to remove lower pad?
Thanks
