I just had my engine freshened up, broke in and did some dyno pulls.
I forgot to give the spark plug heat shields to the builder and they bolt to the lower head bolts.
The one that has 2 bolts is between the 6 and 8 plugs, the other is for #7 plug.
My question is will I be ok removing these head bolts and re torquing or am I asking for trouble?

I would say yes...
You would be OK
Reason being?
The Head is already "torqued"
By un-doing 1 bolt or 2 from each side you should be okay.
Your talking about the "small bolts" correct?

yes the small bolts, I forgot I actually have 3 in a row, the end one for a wire holder and the 2 between 6 and 8 for heat shields. obviously I would do the 1 and re torque and then do the 2 together and re torque or visa versa.
I could live without the wire holder but would like the heat shields .
