Removing heater box from '69

[69-GTX]

I have a leak in the heater and need to get the box off. Seems to be something I'm missing near the driver's side. Anyone have a CLEAR schematic drawing or know of a U-tube video showing how to get it out?

did you remove all the nuts on the firewall inside the engine bay? another word of advice, don't get your heater control cables mixed up!

That's a pretty good "Hint". Hadn't looked for any nuts (other than myself) under the hood. Thanks. I'll bet that will do the trick. I was thinking everything would be done from the inside.:iamwithstupid:

did you get a factory Service Manual ? it would cover removal & installation process
among many other things you may need down the road too...
