removing spot welds on quarter trunk extension?

I,m trying to remove the trunk extension on my 67 belverdere in one piece to fix a dent in the corner,is has to be removed to fix it but was wondering what to use to get in there,a drill is to big to get at the spot welds.What worked for you.

you have one on the inside of the trunk close to the back, cut the drill bit and make something custom unfortunately you must improvise the rest will be from beneath also do it from the opposite side you should be fine

Shortened shaft on spotweld cutter in a right angle air drill would probably do it.

Hammer through them with a seam splitter.

grind them away with a 4' cut off wheel

I've bee doing it this way for years works well. Just don't grind all the way through both panels.
