1968 Plymouth Sport Sattelite with A/C. How do you get to the back side of the instrument assembly to change turn signal indicator and dash light bulbs? Is there a trick to it? do you have to take out the assembly?
Also, how would you test the turn signal printed circuit board? My fender mounted TS indicators work OK......................................MO

Depends on how flexible you are, size of hands and if you like laying upside down with your head between pedals. The older I get the more apt I am the take the longer route and would drop the column and pull the cluster checking all the bulbs and the board.

That is not the answer I wanted--but did expect............8-).....
Someone have a pic of the back side of a 1968 instrument guage that they would post? Thanks...........................MO

These were on eBay. The first one is a non rally dash the second a rally dash.

I recently did my 69 Rallye gauge bulbs to swap in LEDs. And yes, you need to be able to lie on your back on the floor with head on and between the pedals and still be able to get up off the floor when done or need something. I'm still pretty young and thin (40ish) and I was cussing when doing it. I unscrewed the faceplate so it had more wiggle room and I could move it when reaching around for the bulbs.

I assume you did not drop the steering colume? Loosening the face plate may be what I need to do.
Thanks all.................................MO

Correct, did not loosen the steering column. Did undo the fresh air vent openers to get those out the way. For me at least, it really helped having the front face plate loose so I could move it around a bit.
