Has anyone used the new reproduction Bendix booster and master cylinder (with the firewall plate and pedal linkage) for 1971 B body?
Does it fit well?
If the firewall plate supplied is used are any firewall mods required?
Does the pedal linkage fit up properly without mods?
My current set-up has general purpose booster so original firewall plate and pedal linkage not available.

I just saw a story in Hemmings Muscle Machines magazine where they did it with a 71 or to Roadrunner and the parts supplier was called ABS power brakes. Com check out the website for now while I locate that old magazine article and try and repost some of it for you

The link you posted looks like the one advertised as 66-70. Not sure what the cost is on the valve included with that kit but the one I've been looking at is $299 without the valve.

Similar items, just for different year models with the firewall plate.
Anyone had any experience with them?

Thanks. Look forward to anything you can post.
hell I'll send you the whole magazine you pay the postage but I don't necessarily know it's your best option

I had a look at the Ram Man You Tube clip on the Mopar Power Brakes. Very informative, including the last section on the reproduction Bendix Booster. So probably won't need the magazine (plus not worth the cost of sending all the way to Australia). Thanks for your help though.
What did you mean by not your best option? The magazine, or the repro Bendix gear?
Any other options on getting back to standard set-up?

I just meant there were other options that I think are better than this ABS outfit like Ram man incorporated or pirate Jack which is also an after-market supplier most people are talking about using the non-power master cylinder with a 15/16 bore four front disc rear drum brakes as well so you do have some options is that what you're trying to do a front disc rear drum type of setup

I am installing one now on a 66 Charger but am having some fitment problems. My set up is from inline tube. First off the plate that comes with the booster doesnt fit the firewall properly. 2nd the booster has a larger center protrusion so it does not fit the firewall with out cutting the firewall. So the firewall and original firewall plate will both need to be cut to accept the larger center on my car. Always something I guess.
