Reproduction ignition leads

Hello just wondering if the reproduction ignition wires are compatible with an electronic ignition as the web site says made to original specs but my charger came factory with a points distributor.Just wondering as I'm getting an unburnt fuel syndrome everything seems to running fine but after a while fuel builds up in exhaust and back fires through exhaust

Faulty ign leads, that have gone very high resistance, or shorting out, can cause your problem. If you want to replace your leads with good quality leads I recommend the MSD 8.5mm universal kit. It comes as a kit with the spark plug ends already terminated. You measure & install the other end. By laying out the leads & measuring carefully, you will end up with a couple of spare leads. Everything needed is in the kit, buy on Ebay.
