resale red

Red is tricky. A shade off it comes out too loud.

Green is another tricky color. A shade off it looks like sadness.

Blue or black is a safer bet.

yesterday I got into a grey truck (not thrilled about it) .......... it was pouring down rain....... it was dark.....everything, every car was grey

I pulled into Home Depot and everything was balck/white/grey.........except for one red pu truck, stuck out like a sore thumb,

it seemed back in the day 20% of the cars were red

at least the traffic lights look nice

My'97 Camaro SS is red. I noticed the advertisements of the time showed either the red or the white and orange anniversary models. Those orange and white cars have appreciated faster than red. At the time, I thought they looked garish. but sometimes that works as in the Super Bird and Daytona. You could get the LT4 that was underrated at 345 hp. Those things are $$$$$$$now.

Imron was the first automotive paint I remember that you absolutely need a respirator at the very least... A fresh air system is a far better choice... Before Imron most paints were Acrylic Enamel or Lacquer... Twenty minutes spraying either of those without a respirator & you have colorful snot and a hell of a headache.... Twenty minutes spaying Imron without a respirator if you are lucky you'll be laid out in the hospital...
In the 90s I used white and blue lacquer on a Baja bug, learned about the snot thing when I blew my nose and saw those same colors.

Only red car in the current fleet is in a lame tomato soup color, looks a little better in this pic compared to real life.

No more green, black, yellow or blue for me. Red and white. Ones for resale and the others used to sail by.........

My 19 standard body Hellcat in Tor Red is the only automatic car factory built (1 manual) with factory carbon stripes in 2019 according to Dodge. They only built 44 in the US that year, hard to believe red wasn’t more popular nor the stripes combination.

Tor Red is the best red I've seen in a long time!

2023 ToRed WB Kitty. I emailed Dodge for a % breakdown on colors for thre 2023 Hellcats, and Dodge sent me info and the build sheets for it. It is one of one, of the last year/2023 production cars.

Our locals make fun of us and say we have our own "Red Car" car club. When we all get to park together in rare occasions there can be as many as 5 to 6 or more red cars together.
