I joined your forum in order to post an ad for a local guy (N/E Louisiana) he has a very restorable 65 satellite II hard top ( Do we still call em " No Post tops") he is trying to sell.
The car is all there, glass, chrome, lights/bezels, not sure if the interior is stock buckets and console or if they were installed by someone in the 60's but they seem to be period pieces. Body wise the piece is pretty straight, there is minor (1in?) rust starting to show at the rear wheels and a spot around the rear window bezel. the drivers door appears to have been kicked open and hit the front fender edge. I say that because I see no evidence of an accident shoving the fender back or the door forward? the engine is a 272? 2 bbl complete with a couple of wasp nests and the car is (again, working from memory here) I believe a column shift. it even has the period cragar rims.
If there is any interest in saving this classic Mopar P.M. me and I'll drag my butt up there and take some pictures of it. Had I not just started a Jeep conversion project I would jump on it, if for nothing else, Yard Art, of course I thought it was a Fury? He is wanting to see about 3500. ( I know he turned down 2500 from a local guy here not long ago)
I told him I would try to help him sell it and was about to put it on Craigslist (groan) in Shreveport,Dallas, and Houston then I thought there has to be a "B" body club, group, forum somewhere on the net that would love to see another restorable Mopar available!
Thanks

I'll get some pic's of this thing tomorrow and see if I can figure how to post them, I'm not a photographer or a computer guy but we'll see?

A '65 Satellite II?
Did that follow the '65 Satellite I?
Or, perhaps a cross between a Belvedere II, & a Satellite?
