Return of the viper

Viper scmiper,
Bring back the Dakota and I'll be impressed.

I would love to have a Viper with a Hellcat engine. Be scary as hell, but fun none-the-less.

A couple years ago when I was managing an online magazine, I had regular April Fools Day articles. The return of the 2015 Dodge Stealth got so popular that other news sources were writing about the pricetag and the interior, all based on my bogus article.

The Hellcat 300 article had some people upset because they were ready to trade in their car.

Then I had a couple of others, didn't do so well, and posted about a smaller, 2020 Viper with a crate. I think I posted it here a while back. Funny.. .now they're talking about a smaller, lighter, 2020 Viper. LOL

Can the new Viper ordered without cruise control?

The return of the vr1000 joke pissed a bunch of folks off

There are two things i see happening here. If they change it from a v10 to a v8 it will lower the vipers classification from a super car to a sports car. Giving more competition to the corvette (gm) and taking away competition from Ferrari (fiat) but i would like to see the viper back in the lemans race

The Corvette would be the target competition, no doubt - and they have some serious catching up to do if that's the case.
I hate to admit it, but Chevy has developed that car to impressive world-car levels.

And now they have a mid eng vette, we will see how that does. I haven't heard anything from the new ford gt

I have to disagree with you moparedtn. The interior is all plastic and very cheaply made. Sure, it is powerful., but for the price I would expect higher quality.

some people like that stuff which is fine. for me i'll just steal idea's and put them on a classic to wear

Powerful AND has suspension and brakes to match. The Z06 matches up with supercars across the world and does so at a fraction of their cost.
I've never been a fan of the design of Corvettes, but they are producing something American that is worthy.

The Corvette is a compromise of raw performance and production budget cutting.

2021, why the wait ?
(AllPar saw 2022-2023)
why not bring it back now ?
{along with the Dakota SLT in 4x4 & a Hemi}

they did say it won't be a V-10 anymore
"it will allegedly be V-8, a Not yet known what Gen IV Hemi"
