Return of the viper

Ever ride in one? Rough and tight.

I just read the first page of this thread, about Chevy.
My 2nd car (59 is my daily) is a 2017 Camaro ZL1. 10 speed automatic. This car is a beast. For the money, this is by far the fastest car I've been in, or encountered on the road.
I've been challenged by Vipers, hellcats, Z06's... only to have them oooo and ahhhh about how fast it is. And....all the comfort and modern tech to boot

yep cool commercial for Pennsoil

a real supercar, truly affordable
older ones (not an ACR's or TA's) can be had for $50k or less sometimes
still great deals on early versions
they won't stay that way too long

almost bought a 96 GTS a couple years back
low miles for $45k, guy needed money,
but I needed my money more, wish I bought it sometimes now
he sold it for about $65k (IIRC) to someone else a couple months later

very few driver aides,
like other in the class or other brand x cars have
takes a real driver not some average Joe Smoe,
to get all of the capable performance out of one

a real mans American made sports/performance car

Yeah, I’ll take a Hellcat. Vipers uncomfortable and sound like a UPS truck. V8 any day all day.

I'd like to have both a Hellcat (or Demon) & a Viper
why be limited by just one choice :carrot:

the V-10's do sound weird,
yes the V-8 especially Supercharged sounds cool as hell
but I'm willing to cope :bananadance:

change the muffler & head-pipes (or also add headers)
make a world of a difference
