Richard Simmons won't be sweating anymore

RIP

Richard Simmons motivated millions of people to think about their health, eating habits and exercise daily. He certainly was a superstar in the fitness world. And that is what Richard will be most remembered for.

Though Richard seemed a little effeminate, he never addressed publicly whether he was gay; maybe he was or wasn't it really didn't matter to the people he helped live a healthy life.

Simmons often mentioned God and prayers as a big part of his life. So, hopefully, Richard is now with the Lord.

You sure do know a lot about Richard Simmons! Lol RIP Richard, sweat in peace!

Apparently his knees went bad. He said he had one replacement and needed another.

No high impact aerobics for me.

In the mid 80s when I was around 13 I caught a replay of the local morning show that he often made appearances on, and he said something to the effect that he’s at his gym almost everyday give him a call and said the number. Since it was local I dialed thinking it was BS, since when do they give real numbers on TV. Anyway he actually answered as friendly and energetically as you would expect, I was flabbergasted and hung up. I should of stayed on and at least said hello back.

R.I.P.....

I walk one to three miles everyday on my treadmill or walk the sidewalk around our pond. I'm with wayne, 76 and wore out. High impact aerobics is what the indians did in everyday life and 45 was a ripe old age. I would say, just saying, but ........... Does anyone see a correlation playing out there.............. Dr. Ruth was 96, I follow her advice.
