My neighbour Greg just passed away from a heart attack at 52. Not a car guy but a nice guy and good neighbour with a 6 year old.
High stress job and a smoker can be deadly friends. If you're having heartburn or chest pains, don't ignore it and get checked out please...

Holy cow!
What a SHOCKER!
So sorry to hear this "Glenwood"
Wow, God Bless his family
And yes, Smoking is the #1 leading cause of Heart Disease
Chances are he was a little overweight with High Blood Pressure!

RIP - sad day for the family

Glad I never took up smoking myself . . .

His health seemed fine but I really couldn't say for sure. He didn't seem overweight to me, but many of us tend to tack on a few pounds over the years don't we. Greg was an IT pro and a good one as far as I could tell. The seditary lifestyle probably contributed to his attack.
It's so sad and shocking that our heads are still spinning. I thought I'd share this as it's a bit of a wakeup call for me to take better care of myself being the same age...

Sorry to hear that...

RIP Greg
52 is way too young to die...

So sorry to hear about your friend. That age is way too young. I was never a smoker but had a very high stress job and wasn't exercising enough, although not over weight and I had the widow maker heart attack at 55. I lived through it only by the grace of God. It seems like there's so many young people dying of heart attacks these days. We live such high stress and often unhealthy life styles here in the U.S. - We need to slow down and not take our health for granted because no man is gaurenteed to live another day. RIP Greg........

Sorry to hear about your friend Glen. The age of 52 is way too young. :(
Condolences to your neighbour's family.

I lost a childhood buddy last year to one as well, he was 56 or 7. He always seemed to be stressed out about something all the time. I'm sure losing his son about 5 years ago to drugs hadn't helped any either. Sorry to hear this.
His son was speedballing and had one as well.

Yeah, sad to hear, way too young.
Pushing to 69, smoked since I was 10, two heart attacks, round of cancer...day by day...and still got an attitude!

Sorry to hear about your friend. I need to get back to walking myself, other than just behind the lawn mower. I'm 52 1/2 and am also an IT person, sit around too damn much.

Sorry to hear that Glen, prayers to the family, especially his 6 yo.

Sorry to hear about your friend Glenwood. 52 is too young. And to leave a 6 year old behind.
I'm guessing he had a family history of heart problems in addition to the smoking

I lost a great neighbor recently. It hurts.

Very sorry to hear. I lost 3 friends in their 50's, two to heart attacks, one to cancer. It sucks.

Sad to loose a loved one at that age. Some people can abuse their bodies to 90+, others not so much...RIP to your friend and neighbor.
