This came with a project I bought, a 69 Charger. According to the website, it fits 66-72 B-bodies. I'm still doing the project but this fine piece is now extra as I went with a full tilt performance frame. It's a street and strip set up with Wilwood 12" discs, coilovers, manual M/C or power booster (two are not compatible, so your choice), the rack is manual (but I have a new power one from Flaming River we can talk about), includes the sway bar, and it is completely assembled. Only thing is it's painted not powder coated. I would powder coat it personally. Over $5k new. Zero miles. I'll ask $4k. Near Chicago. The pictures are from various stages of the build, as it sits now there's no change other than some of the usual surface rust on the rotors.

No love for this highly desirable upgrade? I'd love some feedback or any questions I can answer for y'all.

Will this fit up to an E body?

A brand new Alter-K-tion from RMS costs $5200.

Your unit was built in 2009 and I don't know what the price was back in 2009.

Your unit has no motor mounts on it - RMS can add them for $300
Your unit is painted and new ones come powder coated - RMS can powder coat it $300
Your unit has manual rack and the new ones come with power racks - RMS can upgrade it for $400

You are asking $4000 - plus the above needed "upgrades" would put me with a 5 year old unit and $5000 investment - about the same price as new.

This Alter-K-tion came with the project car, so you didn't even pay full price for the unit, but you're trying to sell it for full 2014 price ? ?

I'm interested in the unit - and I've contacted Bill about RMS doing all the upgrades - but my offer to purchase this unit ( with all the surface rust ) is in the $2000 range ( cash ).

Let me know if you're interested in selling . . .

Hey, Conv67bdere, as you and I discussed ON THE PHONE, this unit is not right for you. You want a powder coated one from the factory. You want hemi mounts. And you want 11" brakes (not the 12" these come with). You also don't mind paying for a new sway bar, master cylinder, pads, and having Reilly do all the stripping and powdercoating for you. For someone else, who has access to a media blaster and powder coating at a reasonable cost, is handy enough to make his own mounts, and would like to save a few bucks, this item is perhaps perfect. As I TOLD YOU ON THE PHONE, you should buy directly from Reilly.

I'm not sure why you are on here trashing my stuff after our conversation, but it is kind of a douche move. Don't like it, don't buy it. I don't know how much better a seller I could be...not too many people tell you their thing is not right for you and to buy direct, I am sure. Anyone else who wants to make me an offer I am open. I'll sell it to anyone else but you.

coil over shocks come with it? And are they double adjustables. what brand shocks? i'm very interested thanks

Thanks for being a gentleman, SSR. They look to be ride height adjustable only. I will look at them more closely when I get back to the shop. Here's some more pics as the unit sits today, including everything that comes with it. I had reduced the price to $3500 a few days ago. It is on eBay now. If the coilovers don't work for you, I can get you just about anything in the Strange Engineering catalog near cost to sweeten this deal. I also have a brand new Flaming River power rack I am happy to talk to you about if you need power.

They are single adjustable QA1 coilovers with 500# springs. As I said, I can help you with anything out of the Strange catalog.

I did not trash anything on or about the RMS Alter-K-tion. I only stated pure facts and prices directly from RMS.

Nothing else.

Good luck with the sale.

But why, Larry? We already talked and parted our ways, amicably I had thought. So to what end did you post those comments? It seems you want the item, you just don't like my price and are trying to both bully me into changing it and get others to pile on.
Here's some rules for you. As a senior member you should know better. You broke 1,3, and 4.
