First thanks for help ,finally have enough lights working too try for some temp plates ,Still have couple things high beam indicator, and generator light ,oil light .I have headlights ,parking and turn signal lights ,Turn signal switch is new that was last weeks project, dash lights also are working ,charging system only pulls 12.2 volts tried two different new alternators, changed
Out the voltage regulator nothing changed ,i was thinking of bypassing Alt gage just to see if maybe it's the problem,if I put the headlights on gage does pull down to the discharge side have too really rev it up 3 grand to get gage to go pass the middle to the charge side thanks Gregg

The high beam indicator, oil light and main power leads (and ammeter leads) are all in the middle bulkhead terminal. That's a good place to start. Old Mopar bulkhead terminals can be the source of lots of electrical issues.
Make sure the voltage regulator case is well grounded. It's supposed to ground by its fasteners but new regulators can come with a fairly thick coat of paint.

Short horse has a great idea....grind off that paint of the voltage regulatory near the bolts AND at the bracket where it bolts to the firewall. You can also buy a cheap ground cable (or make one). You should have about 14.4 volts at the battery terminals if the alternator is charging. Also make sure that your field wires are producing 12volts (sort of turns on the alternator).

Thanks I'll get on it after work ,funny never had such a challenge getting everything up and working thanks Gregg
