Robin Williams won't be down

It's a sad loss. But... I'm one of those guys. And I think he was murdered. It's a little odd that right before his death was announced. Family Guy was on. And the show was about Robin Williams attempting suicide. The show did the same thing with the Boston bombing. It's called predictive programing.

truly sad day, I enjoyed allot of his comedy,
it's a damn shame he went out that way, choosing suicide & hung himself...

RIP Robin, you will be missed

or, maybe Robin saw the show, and it was just one more nail...

You guys truly crack me up, that's why I love this forum. What a genuine global cross section this is, all brought together by one thing, love of B-Bodies. You all will agree how insignificant B-Bodies are in the grand scheme of things.

How about we all just celebrate what this man has given the world. None of us can begin to measure it. Celebrate his passing to a better place and peace, regardless of his motives to get there. We are not in a place to judge.....none of us are.

I still remember when he came to Richie Cunningham in a dream...it wasnt long after that he was the BIG DEAL....someplace I have a pic of my wife with a mork from ork t shirt on....crazy sh*t...RIP

This sheds a bit more light on the situation...

Robin Williams was in the early stages of Parkinson's disease and was sober at the time of his suicide, his wife said Thursday.

In a statement, Susan Schneider said that Williams, 63, was struggling with depression, anxiety and the Parkinson's diagnosis when he was found dead Monday in his Northern California home.

OH REALLY?!!! Just wait until you start with the physical problems. You'll find that there are a great deal of mental issues too.

That means you will have BOTH. Maybe mental issues alone might be easier to deal with than both.
I appreciate what you're saying. But my take is that if one has mental health issues, because they are not visible, it's more difficult to deal with.

Example 1, I'm depressed. OK why am I depressed? It's all in your head, there's nothing physically wrong with you. How do I deal with that?

Example 2; I'm depressed. Why? Because I lost a limb and I can't do what I did before. Doctor says, we'll give you a prosthetic and with a bit of therapy, you'll be at 99% of what you were before. OK, I can probably deal with that.

My whole point was that, if one has a physical issue, it can be dealt with. It still may lead to some mental issues, but IMO, it's easier to deal with simply because there is a concrete starting point.

With purely mental issues, it's harder to find a start point to deal with.

To most of us, Robin had everything, money, fame, health, you name it. But he took his life because he was depressed. Why? That's something we'll probably never know.

I never meant to make light of anyone's physical problems.

Coming from someone with first hand experience with mental issues... very we'll put sat...

My dad had Lewy Body dementia and it aint no picnic. Sounds to me that Mr. Williams had plenty of mental and depression issues and perhaps that's what drove him over the edge.

I agree with Satman. Unless you've experienced it you don't know, the depths that depression can bring you to. It's much different than a physical ailment. But one can bring the other - both ways. Robin also had the beginning stages of Parkinson's to top it off. All those things you have in life that are good - mean nothing when you're seriously depressed. God bless him and God speed

I had forgotten how this subject is controversial. Suicide is not a courageous act. It can also be called self-murder. Those who love you may spend the rest of their lives asking what THEY could have done to prevent this. You are essentially shitting on them.

mork from ork - nanew nanew

I hated that show..made me depressed:icon_eek:

I love women too. I am faithful though..
