I have a silly question will roller rockers fit under stock valve covers on a 440 with a .455 lift cam ??

Why would you want roller rockers with a .455" cam?

measure the height of the covers and the total height of the rocker with the valve open

Hey Sawman, i used a set of comp cams roller rockers 1.5 with an old DC .509 lift cam. NO clearance problems. However make sure use use a checking push rod to verify the correct pushrod length. With milled heads old parts, ect. dimensions change. good luck! Dantrap.

Thanks that makes me feel a lot more confident in the measurements ,and you are right about the pushrod length had to have them made by crane .
Hopefully I will be firing it up by the weekend !!!!
