Hello

Had to pull the heads off my 74 400 sent them out to be reconditioned.

Been thinking of replacing the rocker arms and lifters while it's apart.

Just looking for factory style stamped rocker set. Anyone have any luck finding a set that's good without breaking the bank? What about good factory style lifter? The reviews are all over the place. Would the Mopar performance lifters be a good choice? Want them to be quiet ones. Not going to run her hard. Trying to keep it stock. Also does anyone know what size the Block drain plugs are? Going to replace those as well.

Thanks

Reuse your rockers unless they are loosing metal where they contact the valves. Rocker arms from Sealed Power R851 x8 (righthand), and R850 x8 (lefthand). Lifters are HA976 from almost anywhere. Some prefix variations are: HT, HL. They are the same lifter. I sell the rocker arms at $8.97 ea, so you should find the same. I wouldn't necessarily change the lifters without the cam unless the lifters are defective. You could get a cam kit from Summit (OEM or RV level), and include a timing chain. If you change the lifters and rockers, I recommend you also change the push rods: PR321 Elgin & Pioneer, MPR321 Melling, RP3191 Sealed Power, 190-1408 SBI, and 215-4113 Clevite. Any other questions, just PM me and I will see if I can help.

Is set in spanish because is my mother language, but you get the pns and prices the same

Sesrch the rest also around rockauto... they use to have the best prices and shipping charges, plus usually discount codes allways active. ( 5% the most common ). Sometimes you can play with storaging to save more shipping changing the brand of the part you are selecting ( they have 3 or 4 places where ship from ) and the cart states that on every item you select
