Cores are hard to find if your looking for the correct part number And birth day. If not it makes it much easier. What do you need part number date code? Id call Jim Ridge otherwise most will fit including square back style. I know I’ve mentioned his name several times here but he is very good for a restorations. There are many good rebuilders out there just require American made parts for it!

Date (Late 69) is not a deal killer. Just looking for the 1970 round back style to restore.

I have recycled at least 50 alternators in the last few years. Are they really that hard to find out there?
I probably have 10-12 in the shed right now.

Ones with good, legible date codes are getting a bit harder to find. I'm looking for a Jan. 69 single field myself.

Kern dog if you have good cores where the castings aren’t damaged or sand blasted please give Jim Ridge a call, the hot ones are for the muscle car years .. Certain numbers are worth more some not much but you may help a restorer out versus the rebuilder don’t scrap them...! I went all over for the correct one for my 70Charger RT.. met some interesting folks and dug thru piles, piles and more piles and thru barrels too then took a long drive to get it after all that! Look at the pie wheel 72 and down to 68 for sure but there are some maxie guys too and some that just want it to be correct . I want my 1970 to be all 1970! Or at least as close as I can...
