Since the Events forum makes the claim that I have insufficient privileges to post there, I'll post this here:

Car show, swap meet, car corral and more. Food trucks, raffle prizes and a good time for all Mopar fans!
Hagen Park, Rancho Cordova CA.

Greg and his wife, came all the way out here for Carlisle, and now you have the nerve to tell him you can't make it? lol

I figured with Gold you could post there. You're posting where you can, just like I do.

At one time, I was a regular attendee and showed both my 1966 Chrysler 300 and 1966 Plymouth Satellite. It at one time was a very good show, and I even wanted to join the Club until they made some very unrealistic demands on me, along with my Brother Jon. We were both back on Active Duty down at Travis AFB, and we couldn't commit to their demands to participate more, so we quit going to this venue. Never went back again as it left us with a very bad experience when we were driving. Plus, the show's administrators began to harass a fellow BB Member...Stu Harmon, for having food he prepared and served, because he wasn't an approved food vendor, so he left as well. Besides, I now live 2 1/2 hours away, have no ride anymore, and just cannot make the trip down. But those attending...hope ya have a good day there...cr8crshr/Bill:usflag::usflag::usflag:

I'd go but can't afford to be detained for 4 weeks because I'm an illegal terrorist!

Yes, please post pics. Wish I could attend. But just got back from a trip to Washington state. Attended a great car show in Snohomish WA.

I'll have to check with our club photographer. I was busy working the show today. I got these sent to me though...

It has been held in a couple different places over the years
I haven't been in 20 years now, since I bought up in Sonora area Sept. 2005
here 150+ miles east, away from the flatlands...

Used to know a few people in the Sac. club, lost track of them or
they've almost all moved farther east too...
Lost track of most of them now, don't know what the deal is...
A bunch I knew, were older, that have died off, got sick or just got out
of the car stuff altogether...

Never been a big car show attendee, more of a 'come, check it out & go' type guy
I'm more of a race & show or an event where you use the car type deal, not just a show
& unless I have friends there, stay for a drink, hot dog etc. & I'll move on...
Even when I owned in the area, lived in Rancho Murieta from 1997-07,
I rarely went either & when I did, I'd do a drive by every so often...

Used to know a tone of people, that went,
a bunch from the bay area/Concord area too
I probably wouldn't even recognize most of anyone now
or them recognize me for that matter...
If they are still even doing it...

It was a cool smaller show, for MoPars show

I was told that they held their first show in the Roseville Automall.

I've been a member since 2003. I entered my car in the "Under Construction" class since I was just getting ready to do the interior.
I won!

That was at Hagen Park in Rancho Cordova. Since then, it has been there almost every year. We had no show in 2020. The park district folks were impossible to deal with in 2021 so we moved to an Elks Lodge in Carmichael for 2 years, returning to Hagen in 2023. The two years at the Elks lodge drew a LOT of complaints due to the small size and dusty show field.

of the car stuff altogether...

I've been a regular attendee to the monthly meetings except when I had jobs that had me getting up real early. During that time I did not see the many people that came and went. After awhile I'd attend a meeting and see a bunch of people that I did not know.

Before buying the Charger, I never took a car to any show. I had a decent Camaro but it wasn't worthy of any trophy.
I drag raced the Charger a few times but since I am more of a road course fan, my car isn't set up for straight line stuff.

What some people like about our show is that it is similar to Van Nuys. We are on grass, there are trees, ponds, squirrels and birds around. It is a nice venue.

Think of how nice those Chargers would be with Period correct wheels and tires. Say no to rubber bands.

Thanks for the pictures, looks like a good variety of mopars there. I like it when there are more than just the usual Chargers, Road Runners, Challengers, and Cudas. Don't get me wrong. I love them. Lately I've been drawn to the more obscure or less seen Mopars.
