On Ruby, the 66 Coronet we are restoring the front frame rails are rotted out by the bolt hole in the side, not the bumper bolt hole but the other one which i do not know what its for. i have seen this hole and before and never anything bolted to it.
any hoo, the question is
My original K-frame bolt holes are good, the safety cap also has k-frame bolt holes.
I will have to cut one or the other out of the way. Which would you do?
i am leaning towards removing the safety cap ones as the originals are exactly where they need to be
i have used these caps before and have no objection to them.
