I even went through a stint in the 90's watching "Tailspin", and "Pinky and The Brain" on the Ducktails show and "The Tick" and "Earthworm Jim".

Those were well written and possibly not 100% aimed at kids.

Our TV only got UHF channels.

I knew every episode of "Scooby Do" by heart, but didn't see an episode of "The Flintstones" until I was 12.

How about the "Planet of the Apes" and "Star Trek" cartoons?

PBS allowed me to watch "Space 1999" and "Monty Python's Flying Circus".

1970, Monty Pythons The Parrot sketch, John Cleese said “he fuckin’ snuffed it!” On TV. THAT was unheard of then. I remember my ten year old jaw hitting the floor. Benny Hill used to have *******, as well.
