Radiator and fan shroud and fan spacer.... maybe a power steering pump... longer wires for the distributor.... correct motor mounts and cross member.... 74 BB oil pan to clear the steering linkage... BB torsion bars..... hand full of other tuff..... oil pressure sensor...... 383 was points.... someone who has recently done it will be all over this.... last time I did one was in the '90's
When I changed my 73 from a 360 to a 440 I bought the mounts from Schumacher, to offset the weight difference I removed all of the A/C stuff from the car including the stuff inside the heater box under the dash. I still have the SB torsion bars and haven't had a problem in the 6 years since the swap. BB radiator is correct as well. I did not have to shorten the driveshaft.
Greenlite, if you didnt have to shorten the driveshaft you had a 727 trans behind the 360 and the BB 727 is the same length as the SB one. but the OP states they have a 904 trans which is very close to the 4" shorter than the 727. Just wanted to clarify for the OP:icon_thumleft:
