SB Trans swap

I am now going back to a auto. I put the 4sp in and the McCloud Hyd clutch. It is so hard to push I cannot get it dialed in.

I got rid of the SB trans like an idiot and would like to know what SB trans that may be better (updated) like overdrive that will fit directly into the spot. I still have the original driveline so just need a trans. Or if anyone in the PNW has an original that is Good to bolt in. Need to get this up quick for my son to take to college.

Sounds like a problem in the hydraulic system......it should be easy. No OD ChryCo trans is a direct bolt in but only the 95 and older boxes are full hydraulic shift.

So you think I should pull it out, drain and start fresh. ugg. If I had to pull it I just want to do it once.

Where in Hawaii are you located? If on Oahu, I can give you a number of a guy who can rebuild a small block 727.
