Is the only option for a scatter shield on a big block with a TKX/TKO the Quicktime RM-6074 for the 130T flywheel? I already have a good 143T flywheel and have read about the mini starter issues with a 130T.
Silver Sport makes a cast aluminum one, I’m in the process of modifying a Lakewood scatter shield to fit, bored the register out to fit, and drilled the mounting holes, the lower bolt on the drivers side is tricky as it hits right on the radius where it starts to “bell” towards the block. Is the only option for a scatter shield on a big block with a TKX/TKO the Quicktime RM-6074 for the 130T flywheel? Yes it’s an old 833 bell housing.I’m familiar with the aluminum one but would prefer steel. Modding the Lakewood is interesting, it is an a833 bell correct? I was under the impression that the input shafts were different lengths.
