Hi,
I am a new guy in PA and I am trying to locate or get any information on a 1970 Blue Road Runner that I sold in 1979. It was in the Harrisburg, Pa area. It was a 4 speed with black interior and bucket seats. I ended up losing my license for six months for a drag racing ticket and sold it. This is the car shown in the photo. Please anyone that has any information on this car please reply. I would also be interested in finding a 1970 Blue Road Runner for sale, similar to the one I had. Thanks Brian

1970 Road runner V code car
I decided to let it go. I don't have time to do this project, but it should be done. I don't have the motor for the car but have the trans. This is a very very very solid car. I do have the grille and some other misc. parts. I have included a picture of the fender tag. This car came with some great options. One thing i have a question about is the tic toc tac gauge this has a blank gauge is this common. The interior of the car is untouched except for the shifter. I am just going to throw a price out there i have no idea what the car is really worth. If im out of line on price please let me know give me some feedback please. Asking $25,000 Any input would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

I did send him two private messages on that Road Runner, maybe he is on vacation but I did not get any reply....

welcome to FBBO, good luck with your search, have you tried DMV search, small fee if you have the VIN #'s or Licence Plate #, possibly

I tried to find out the VIN with my insurance company but their records did not go back that far, I wish I could find out what it was....

Welcome. That looked like a nice RR back in the day. I hope you won the race when you got the ticket.

Welcome,i had a lot of 70 Road Runners through the years an hour away from the burg but don't remember that one specifically. I will keep an eye out for you and good luck with your search as factory 4-speed cars a specific color can be hard to find, i know it took me until a few years ago to locate another 70 RR (factory) Lime 4-speed Post Cp like the one i sold in 1975 or 1976

Welcome and good luck! you can find your car if you dig hard enough. Best of luck! A guy I knew had a 69 Road Runner convertible with the numbers matching engine but the trans had no numbers. He did find the trans a couple years ago by a title search. One of the owners still had it in his garage so you can't give up!

i bought my 1st 70 Road Runner back in 1983 in Pittsburgh. ill describe it to you, maybe its the car youre looking for....maybe not

1.it had a 4 speed with a 400 big block when i got it
2.it had bucket (black interior) seats but i think they were out of a Camaro...im not sure but they were not mopar seats
3.it was B5 blue and what looked like new paint with tons of putty in it
4.it had a superbird wing on it at one time, but it was not on the car when i got it ( evidence of holes in the top of the quarters)
5. it had keystone classic uni lugs on it when i bought it
6.no air grabber hood
7.had pop out (RM 21) rear windows.
8.i built a 383 and painted it white ( that was way after )

thats about all i can remember about it. im not sure if thats the car youre looking for or not but if it is...i wrecked it into a telephone pole in 1984. heres a pic "pre-fone-pole incident"009.jpg009.jpg

Thanks for replying with your story, I don't think that was mine but very similar....

I did win that race, it was a friend of mine with a Camaro Z 28.....I let him catch up after the first run and did it again before I pulled off to turn around. Had no idea the police were back there following way back behind......many good times in that car
