I bring broken tools to snap on mac matco cornwell all the time I find them or buy them for next to nothing second hand and brake it on purpose to get a brand new one ! They will warranty anything.
Hell so will home dept and Lowe's had a broken tourqe wrench guy threw away I took it to the store they gave me a brand new one case and all it was great!

Nope! If the tool brakes they must honer there warr. Back when I was not hurt I payed dearly for tools that cost near nothing to make the guy who ran the snap on truck told me to brake my stuff . So they can fix the weak link I bought a $300-$400 long *** ratcet I broke the head at least 20 times this pissed me off as it was %ive and it took a week to fix but they finally they came up with a new more bad *** head and it has lasted ever since . If I can brake it it isn't high quality. I don't sit there and just brake brake stuff but I don't pussy foot around only the greatest will isurvive

More bad news. I don't see how they can stay in business much longer. Sears stock is practically worthless now.

Amazon to the rescue??? Just because Amazon announced a deal to sell Sears appliances (Kenmore brand) Sears stock went up 18% is what I think I heard?? That cannot last long.

Kenmore is just a name brand which never manufactured anything for years if ever. There has got to be more to this for stock to take such a jump.
Anyone seeing a buy out in this?
