I have both types here. 1966 Belvedere II or Coronet I suppose, 2 door bench seat. Tall and short, no interior in car when I bought it so which one if you have an original?

I'm gonna go with the one on the right, but neither of my '69's have the correct belts.

66-67 b bodies use short. C bodies are long. They look the same, just longer.

The 68 and up are a different style.

I picked the short ones up yesterday at healer show at MIR for $20

The ones in my 66 are like the ones on the right, and they are molded red, so I can only they are the originals to the car
Its covered right now but I can measure them if needed later today
Zoom in on the pic to see them better

My 67 Coronet is the same except black - I believe they are original to the car.

I’m wondering if bench seats are different than buckets?

I have used 1967 bench seat seat belts in bucket seat cars. They are the same, short sleeves and same length belts.

1966 had different buckles and tabs, possibly the sleeves are different also. Not paid attention to 1966 specifics.

I thought bench did not have boots?
You could be right, the passenger belt is still there (bolt turns along with nut) but no cover boot. I can’t see how they got the boot, if there to start, off over the catch. My car was a very cheap, no options. But a boot will go back.

your car has been totally restored, along with a 67 dash brake warning lamp installed. How much originality is there? Not to cut it down just going by your stories of the prior owner over the years.
