Selling headers on CraigslistOKC

I posted an add for my Hooker long tube headers. I replaced them on the El Camino with another brand shorty headers for ground and spark plug clearance. Today i got an email from a guy named joey scamman. He asked me to call him. I replied asking what he wanted (since I did not like the idea of giving a man named scam man my cell number). He replied he wants to buy and could we meet in OKC. I say OK bring cash and meet me at Braum's in Moore and if he has a preferred time in mind (Moore is in the OKC metro area a few minutes from downtown). He responds he cannot meet until this weekend. I said sounds good but if someone else comes to buy them with the cash first I will sell them. No response, yet. I'm only asking $75 for gaskets, collectors, hardware and the headers which are practically bran new and were installed on the car before I bought it.

I've heard of CL scammers but this guy has to have a fake name, right?

What?! If that ain't shady I don't know what is. I'd be careful if I were you. I had a few of these bogus things myself from selling on Craigslist. You said the right thing though. Honestly you're probably better off selling on Ebay. Best of luck.

Interesting. That explains why he cannot meet until the weekend. Guthrie is 30 miles north.

It could be worse,I found my $1200 TTI Hemi headers for sale on Craigslist! They were delivered to the only rental property in my neighborhood because of a mistake by UPS,and when the tenant moved out,he took my headers with him,and listed them on Craigslist. I was better than Columbo,when I found them,and made them return them to me!
