There was some discussion on painting the metal frame and glovebox door on a 69 Charger. SEM Landau Black was the recommended paint. I purchased SEM 15013 Landau Black. The can states that it is for painting vinyl and plastic. Is this the correct paint for the METAL frame? Does SEM make a Landau Black for metal?
TIA

I would use the 15013 only on soft parts. The original finish on the metal dash was a textured finish that would be hard to duplicate. I used a trim black on mine.

Look into Blitz Black by John Deere. It's a flat/satin black with a little bit of texture. I used it on my dash frame and I like it. I used the Landau Black on the pads, etc. and it provides a nice contrast.

Check out Dupont satin black # A-5099s ..... I used this on my 68 Coronet dash frame, came out great. Even has some texture to it. We use it at work all the time, quality stuff
