Hi everyone- my fuel sender is dripping.

The original stuff was long gone when I got the the car. It’s a 1969 Charger. I installed the new stuff that came with the car. I have no idea what supplier or brand.

What I am asking, I notice some OEM/NOS sending unit retaining rings for sale on and off on the forum.

Are the run-of-the-mill replacement parts known for issues? I know my fuel level is off by 1/3, but as far as leaks, should I be looking for different retainers and seals? What’s works well and is available?

Thanks, I’ll be under the car today.

Short answer - yes, the reproduction lock rings are garbage. Find an original one.
