I check the long-range forecast yesterday and it predicted nice weather for friday, only some morning showers for saturday....the most accurate forecasts will be on wed or thur though. I'll check again before making plans for which day to go......

it's been changing almost daily....... scattered storms and pm storms, I'll take my chances....... low 80s and humid is better than 98 and humid!

It’s also July. Kinda what happens in central PA this time of year. There’s usually one storm that rolls through that sends some easy-ups flying.

Living in the area (1h away), there's a "chance of scattered showers/storms" just about every day these days. If it says "54% chance of scattered thunderstorms" that means it's a 54% chance it might rain, somewhere, in the area. Not a 54% chance that Carlisle will get wet.

There was a "chance" of weather yesterday. We spent the whole day in the jeep, in Amish country. All we got was sunburned. 9h, not a drop. Full sun, great temps.

The wife and I are definitely still coming but I may not be bringing the car… no sense in bringing her only to have her spend the entire time in the box.

Weather forecasting, only job you can get wrong 99% of the time and still get a raise.

Wife and I are flying in Thursday from NorCal. Doesn't rain out here between June and Sept. Gonna have to dig out our umbrellas.

I'll be there no matter the weather. To much money spent on travel expenses to back out now. Getting on a plane tomorrow.

:rofl:Thinking the weather predictions are accurate 5-6 days in advance. I`ve been there in torential downpours and 104 degree heat so chances are it will be better than that but I`m going whatever the weather.

Speaking of flying. Remember your papers: Real ID or passport. BTW, the facial recognition scan/photo is voluntary and is not required for boarding a plane.
