Sh!t weather for Carlisle !!

I'm planning to leave first thing Thursday morning.
Hopefully don't have to drive in a big downpour.
Sitting in rain is not so bad.
But I know the trunk gets water in there...

Driving in it definitely makes for much more cleaning.
Same for my Truck it looks about as good as I can get it right now.

Are you taking the Charger and the truck this year Don?
Odd years are Plymouth years.
I was thinking of taking the Charger and the Satellite but I have to stay down there for a few days afterwards to work so the Truck gets the nod.
But the Charger could certainly go as well it's running perfect.
It's all ceramic coated now (I've been busy):

Looks great Don! The truck will be handier than the Charger for hauling back parts.

Speaking of flying. Remember your papers: Real ID or passport. BTW, the facial recognition scan/photo is voluntary and is not required for boarding a plane.
Escaping North Korea is easier than entering the continental U.S. - but the lineups are shorter !!

Looking better every day. I’ve been there with worse conditions and it never even rained

the forecast has changed almost daily....... we're trending a little hotter and away from rain......

If this trend continues, I might crash on the rocks when the siren song leads me to another encounter with Carlisle law enforcement. The GTX is lying in wait pending updates.

I find it both sad and strange that in a state of almost 40 million people, we have to travel across the country to meet what is essentially the majority of Mopar enthusiasts. No offense meant to you Eastern guys...I just wonder why with so many people out here, our Mopar shows are so small in comparison.
I was at the big show in Columbus in 2004. I get confused though....are THEY the Nationals or is the Carlisle show the Nationals?
Regardless....
Mary and I made the show there in 2004 and I was absolutely in awe of the amount of cars and parts at the swap meet. Our biggest show here is in Van Nuys CA and while I do enjoy it, it is really small in comparison.
In 2004, I knew nobody in Ohio. I was not on any car forums back then so I had no online friends either.
This year it will be different. I am anxious to meet the people that I've interacted with on the forum.

Last year was my wife's and I first time at Carlisle. Everyone at the FBBO tent was very welcoming. I would have to say it was the highlight of the show for us. Looking forward to seeing everyone again, and meeting you and your wife.

Odd years are Plymouth years.
This is brilliant.

I'll start doing the same - odd years, the 91 Daytona turbo

Even years I'll take the 70 Charger.

Renewed the tags today (dead since '23), checked the oil, fired right up, good gauges...

Shakedown cruise went well. Forgot how fun this car is, even at only 12psi boost! One owner car, one of 1329 with this engine, one of 26 with this package (AGS "competition package") and colors.

Might even toss some r134 in the a/c for the weekend lol

Got into Carlisle a couple of hours ago, weather was nice then it started pouring
