Shifter info. needed.

Hey Guys,
I Need help with my 73 Roadrunner. Does anybody have a picture of a slapstick shifter ("T Handle version") showing how the spring connects on the shift rod lever and the bracket.
It has been 35 years since I had my center console out. and I notice that the spring was just lying on the carpet under the console. I may have done that on purpose because I had to change the location/angle of the shaft going thu the floor to the bracket of the transmission. It appears that I will need to remove this bracket and bend the bottom leg of the bracket up about 45 degrees so it will align with the

rod lever that is attached to the shaft.

Well, I modified the bracket by bending the bracket up which allowed the spring to mount correctly and operate as designed. Even though it is not needed to function, I wanted it to be assembled as designed. Attached are the before and after pic
