I admit to being an Ebay junkie, it's pretty much the only way to source some parts for US cars, here in Australia but I'm regularly disappointed that many sellers will not ship outside of the USA.
I understand that maybe they've had bad experiences and want to play it safe and don't want to risk damaging their reputations but to cut straight to the chase here,
Australia is rolling in cash!!
Yep, Global financial crisis be buggered, we are doing quite well thankyou very much and our dollar is currently, and has been for some time, belting the greenback about the head and telling it who's boss, so I beg US vendors that are struggling for cash to consider selling to Australians.
We may only have got electricity a couple of years ago and still ride around on Kangaroo's but we use the same Paypal that you do and the money is just as real as your own.
US muscle cars are flooding into this country on the back of our dollar, helped by the fact that the US economy is hurting, you can help yourselves by capitalising on our current strength and make some cash!!!
I recently ordered a heap of chrome parts for my 440 and have a set of headers about to arrive, all from the US of A, all we ask is that you treat us like you would an American, don't gouge us on shipping (USPS is preferred) and you will find us coming back for more and more!
Here's an example, I want one of these;

This bloke just missed a sale because he won't ship to Australia!
It's still only one trip to the post office guys, the only difference is instead of the parcel going to Milwaukee or Pensacola, it's going to Melbourne or Sydney. Maybe you'll need to pack it a little more thorough but how hard is that if its making you cash and keeping you in business?
Keep us in mind if you want to sell stuff, we are friendly and our money's good and I cannot emphasise enough how booming the US muscle car scene is over here.
