Have a set of 70/30 shocks I'd like to use but are 1/2" short for app.. Any way to adapt them too protect the suspension?
Yeah, just something lying around the garage I want to try out before spending $. Thanks, DaveSummit and jegs both list shock extenders, jegs has the better selection. From $20/pr to $20+ each. You will need to know the thread size.
When i was working i just would have made some, but retired now, no more machine shop to play in, darn it!
If you need the 20 plus bucks each ones, correct new shocks become more viable.
I'm wondering what I could damage if I put them in as-is 1/2 inch shortmaybe jc whitney
Thanks I'll give it a tryso they top out
you have rubber bumpers? (on the suspension drop)
you could shim them'or just let them top out
as I said too long is what hurts things when you hit big bump
