should I balance new pistons?

I think I know what you will all say, but I wonder if I can get away with not balancing my rotating assembly with new pistons. It's a 71 440 with a steel crank. Trying to keep the budget down, and get some power back in this thing.
 
If they're within a few grams of the old piston (especially a few lighter) no big deal but that's really a piss poor place to skimp on a few bucks.
 
Electronic scales are cheap these days too......and weigh everything like rings and pins. Years ago I tore down a customers engine and there were 4 pins in it that were 20 grams different than the other 4!
