FOUND Slant 6 Air Filter Housing

Hello
I picked up a 79 D100 with a 225 slant 6 in it for my grandson.
There is no air cleaner at all on it and we want to start out with a stock housing while we sort ou a few other things on the truck.

Any one have a housing laying around that needs a new home?

Is it a single barrel carburetor and is it the kind with a snorkel or not? I can't remember when they changed from the plain round style. The super 225's have a 2 barrel carb so the base plate opening is different.

Yes it a single barrel carburetor.As far as the snorkel there was nothing with it so I don't know.

Sorry- guess I should have thought of that. If it was a snorkel style I think there'd be a metal shroud around the exhaust manifold with a round tube pointing up. That tube would connect to a flex hose which connected to the snorkel.

If so, this is what the air cleaner assembly would look like. This engine is in a 62 Savoy and I believe it is a '77 vintage. I'm converting my 62 back to the original round air cleaner assembly so could sell you this one. I don't have the flex tube to go from the 'stovepipe' to the snout. $20 plus shipping sound fair?
