Thanks BeatersRus for your help so far.
Well, I purchased a slant six engine and trans from an 83 D150 and, unfortunately, not a super six.
And I didn't realize that it was a 727 till I got to working on it a few days later. I know that many B bodies came with 727's so it'll fit.
I'm a bit concerned about the driveshaft though, I hope they can adapt the large yoke to a tiny driveshaft somehow, lol.
So I think I'll need a cross member, drive shaft, distributor (to get rid of the spark control), a carb (1 BBL), an oil pan and pick up tube, and some kind of floor shifter. Anything else???
Oh, and recommendations for some kind of factory shifter would be appreciated, (Dodge, Plymouth, whatever will fit)
So has anyone here done a manual to 727 slant six swap? I'll need all the info I can get on this one.
Thanks folks, Wally.
