small block to big block swap

[69satellite400]

I have a 67 coronet, 318 with a 8 3/4 rear. What would I need to make my 400 fit in it?
Are the motor mounts different? Tranny cross member? (For a 727 trans), driveshaft?

Maybe I would be better off selling the 400 and getting a 340?

Any advice would be appreciated!

Have you checked out Schumacher? Should be an easy swap with their mounts.

Just use any car big block engine mount brackets from 66-72. The rear transmission mount will work just as it is.
