small clicking noise

yes the needle did jump a tiny bit back and fourth , when driving it yesterday.
 
i found the problem my fellow mopar heads,,,,it is the left transmission linkage housing,under driver seat,the top safety pin wasn,t fastened or secured,tightly,it had enough play,so that at high rpms it would start rattling,thanks so much for the info and help.

next to my stubby finger in the first pic to the left that support bracket,on top there is a safety pin.that wasnt bent enough in the way that it wouldnt have play.no wobble.
 
You've got really good ears to hear the linkage rattling!
And I'm very happy you don't have a lot of crankshaft runout to be concerned with!
 
lol.yeah, because i went under and felt too much play on that linkage ,i had to crimp the pin tighter to stop the loose play.:thumbsup:
