So... About That Fat & Furious Show

Their pricing is really high for what they seem to do, parts replacers...
what they claim stuff costs etc. seems overly elevated/high {like double sometimes}...
maybe to be able for them to justify their pricing...
maybe it's just me or just scripted Reality Show BS, like most all the car shows are...

IMHFO I'd still rather watch a borderline car show, like I said before I watch most all of them,
I like to see a few cool car projects, much more than 90% of the rest of the crap on TV...

I watched this show and everything was over priced! $84g's is way out there for the final product. Had that been stuffed with 383 or 440, the real numbers would be more like 15-25 thousand depending on the level of work done. Add the Hemi into the equasion and you could bump it up to 35-40 range if the work is neat. It's nothing more than reeling in the viewers with big money expectations and driving up the prices for the rest of us. I do like watching these shows to get ideas and pick apart their work with my friends :laughing7:

I thought they paid too much for the cars, the coronet wasn't worth close to that, the K frame was the only really valuable part of the car. They were too consumed with crap, and I saw little work actually being done. By the time the show was over, I could have sworn they used a different car for the "sale" and just used the project to show they bought a car. I only thought this cause, there was a project coronet convertible a couple of months ago that looked exactly like that on eBay

I never saw this show until yesterday. I had to see if anyone here saw this joke of nonsense. I didn't know the show was old. But the first post here, as well as the others, said almost exactly what I thought. Another thought, their expertise was laughable trying to stuff the trans into the bellhousing.

BTW the show was a re-run if I'm not mistaken. I recall the scene with an over priced hemi engine from some time ago...
