We my so Jon and I both won first Round in Stock
yesterday.

I put up a .002 light and would have run my dial with a
one or two on the end if I had need to do so.

I have one of slowest cars in the Eliminator in my 318 Aspen
Wagon and I cannot hold much against cars that are often
40 or 50 MPH faster at the finish.

Well, I won again Today in Stock and next
round is Saturday morning.

I was able to get the Final Four at Winternationals and
World Final (Plus Bakersfield) and perhaps it will be my
turn this win this time.

We will be up most of the night rebuilding the transmission in my
son's 340 Demon Stocker.

Good this weekend. i've been down the transmission overhaul/repair at the track more than a few times.

Wish you both luck tomorrow. If you get a chance please post pics of both cars.

Well, I the morning I face Jody Lang a
multiple time World and Divisional Champion
in Stock/Superstock. He is a hero and mentor to
my son and has helped him several times!

It will be a battle of two late 70s Station Wagons one
a Chevrolet and one a Dodge that both have gone
11 seconds at Sea Level when the owner want then to
do so.

I did win against him a rare time at the Winternationals
last year several rounds into eliminations. BUT it took a
.00 reaction time and a nearly perfect run.

Stay Tuned!

Well, I took the stripe in a diving dual
against Jody but ran a 12.367 on a 12.37
breaking out by .003.

We took apart the 904 Protrans in Jon's
Demon. The converter has a broke hub and the
one way clutch had quite a bit of play and was very
hard to turn in the direction in should free wheel.

The spring steel piece than presses on the front clutch
pack was broken and warped. The clutches and steel were
shot as well. The 06 ft. went from 1.41 to 1.47 on the last pass
and the car shock like crazy (No tire spin at all). I wonder if these
problems were the issue. I expected the planetaries to be broken
but they were perfect. That is good news as the ones that we have custom
built are about $1,800.00 a set.
